I received the beautiful Owen stone, and it couldn't be more perfect. It is exactly the size, shape, color and look that I hoped for, and when I took it out of the packaging I just hugged it. Our Owen was a 20 year old barn cat who believed he owned our 135 acre farm. He was big and independent, ears a bit frayed from battles, but he always seemed to turn up when we were out and about, ready to snuggle up and be petted. One of his favorite spots was under the lilac bush near the house, and that is where we put him and the beautiful stone. We'll plant some small flowering bulbs nearby in the fall. I just wanted to let you know that we received the memorial stone yesterday (Saturday) with the photo of Smudge engraved in it. It is absolutely beautiful and my wife and I want to thank Old World Stones for doing such a terrific job. Our hearts are still broken and I have to admit that opening the box and unwrapping the memorial stone was emotionally difficult. I guess after 12 of having a little dog follow you around wherever you go takes time to realize that he's not there anymore. It just takes time to adjust I guess. We also lost another dog a few years ago but I didn't stumble across your company's web site until recently. Odds are you'll be getting another request from us in the not too distant future to create another memorial stone for us.  We appreciate the craftsmanship and are very pleased with the memorial stone. When we lost our baby boy, our best friend, it was like someone took part of our heart away. Our pug, Egbert, just shy of his 10th birthday, left a void in our heart that nothing will ever replace. Along with our other babies we have lost over the years, we laid him to rest in our backyard. First of all thank you. I received Pooh Bear's marker this morning and it is beautiful.  I now can have some closure. You made his sister Angel's marker a couple years ago and it was also beautiful. When I lost her it was hard but I still had him. Now that he is gone the house feels so empty. She was 15 when she went and he turned 17 on October 1st. They both had nice long lives and will always be greatly missed but you have made it a little easier. Now I can go out in our yard to our little pet cemetery and visit them and read their beautiful tributes.

I still tear up with missing my Lil" Abby, she was with me for a little over 16 years and we lived in Baja a good share of that time. When I sent my order in it was a Sunday and I received the proof within hours or maybe less and then made changes. Back in November my family had to put our 11 year old Dachshund to sleep. My parents had become very attached to Tara (the Dachshund). We cared for her so much that we went through the trouble of having her euthanized at home, and buried on our property (our county permits this). I tend to be rather austere in my tastes, and ordered a simple stone with Tara's birth year and date. I was pleased to see the graphic used for the Dachshund bore a striking resemblance to Tara. The stone was beautiful, but my mother and brother wanted a more personal memorial, and being impressed with the quality of your work, I ordered another stone with a more verbal message. I was amazed at the quality of stone that was received. It was pink granite and was perfect for what we wanted. Greetings to you all, I just received my 12”x18” rainbow memorial for my Beloved Dog of 15 1/2 years “Bandit. “ He was a beautiful 125 lb. 3 mix breed of mostly Shepard and Lab and looked liked a mountain dog big and fluffy and with a soul with piercing sparkling eyes that can not be matched.  Hello to all Old World Stones Staff. We received the two memorial stones for our beloved Pomeranians Cocoa & Spunky last September 10, 2011. Thank you so very much for a job well done. Cocoa passed away six years ago and his brother Spunky passed away last August 13, 2011 after being with our family for more than 13 years. They were both cremated privately and their ashes sits atop our fireplace with their pictures on their urns. The two memorial stones were beautifully done. The craftsmanship and quality are awesome. These two stones are now in our garden amidst our wide collection of potted bonsai trees and they are now underneath on two of our most favorite trees. It somehow made more things meaningful and we feel joy to think that Cocoa & Spunky would always be remembered with such perfectly engraved stone. We know they are both up in heaven looking down upon us smiling knowing how well they were loved. We all have fond memories of them. No amount of time will lessen our love for our four legged kids.
